Agence France-Presse (AFP) on Monday launched the iPad application in Spanish and Portuguese offers access to the most recent videos, images and graphics to a network of correspondents around the world.

"The launch of the iPad application in Spanish is part of AFP investment is doing in Latin America," said Emmanuel Hoog, President and CEO AFP.
"Our goal is to bring the agency closer to an audience eager to hear from international and local that only a global network of journalists in 150 countries in 1500 can provide," he added.
Hoog is on a visit to Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, which coincides with the launch.
