Six months after its launch pad of RIM - BlackBerry playbook - still lacks a native mail, calendar and contacts. This will change soon, however, judging by a video presentation shown on the BlackBerry Innovation Forum Wednesday.
The e-mail software has a normal appearance, with a list of messages to the left, a preview pane on the right, and an additional toolbar on the far right.

The schedule is not too far from the norm, but it has some nice features under the hood, for example, the calendar date on a busy day grows and provides a quick overview of your schedule.
Finally, the contacts application is powered by Gist, known to many from the App for BlackBerry users. Offers a ton more information, contact information, including news, tweets and blog posts.
