Apple Inc. no patents held by S3 Graphics Co., said the International Trade Commission on Monday in the final decision in the patent wars smartphone.
S3 had filed a complaint with the ICC, 2010, accuses Apple of infringement of four patents for data compression for transmission and unpack it. S3 said, was that the technology used by Apple's iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and to make some Apple computers.
An internal ITC judge gave a ruling in July that Apple infringed two patents and not against the other two.
